ZioSoft's port of all-time strategy megahit Age of Empires is coming along nicely; the launch date is now set for late November, and we've got a slew of new screenshots!
Previously covered here on infoSync, ZioSoft's hard work to port original PC version of Age of Empires to the Pocket PC platform is coming to an end. Now, the company confirms that the launch date is set to be at the end of November - or in other words, just in time for eager gamers to pick up a game that if it lives up to the PC version has the potential of keeping them busy this entire Christmas season.

As an epic real-time strategy game spanning 10,000 years, Age of Empires lets players act as the guiding spirit in the evolution of small stone age tribes. Starting with minimal resources, players are challenged to build their tribes into great civilizations - a concept more or less borrowed from Civilization, for which a port now exists for Nokia's 9200 Communicator series based on the Series 80 platform.
