A new mobile phone - which isn't really a mobile phone - could quickly turn the odds in your favor if you're being attacked. How? By zapping the attacker with 180,000 volts.
Since the world saw the introduction of mobile phones that were small enough to carry around in a pocket, those very phones have been a hot item for thieves. Attackers and thieves alike, however, might get the shock of their life - literally - if they attempt nabbing a new kind of phone from its owner, as in reality, it's a 180,000 volt stun gun.

Designed to look just like a mobile phone, although perhaps a slightly outdated one, the Cell Phone Stun Gun as it is called comes equipped with a safety switch and numerous warnings that it cannot be used as an ordinary mobile phone.
Although this should normally go without saying, one can only guess that the state of the judiciary system in the U.S. might in some way affect the cautionary stand taken by Safety Technology, which sells the "phone".
The phone can be operated both out of and inside the carrying case, and has a special polarity design to assure that its battery is correctly installed. Was it not, owners might find themselves on the nasty end of matters rather than their attacker. A siren which outputs a deafening 130 dB is also part of the phone's security features, providing owners with the option to scare off attackers rather than shocking them with close to two hundred thousand volts.
The complete "phone" package weighs in at 5.3 oz without a battery, and measures a somewhat sizeable 6" x 2" x 1". It is available from the Safety Technology website for $79.00 USD.
